In my first full set of exams in Year 9, I performed badly. I didn't properly know how to study and my lacklustre revision methods ended up placing me as an average student in my year group cohort.

Everything changed in Year 10 where I developed the work ethic and systems required to work towards the top grades. Carrying this momentum into Year 11, I ended up achieving 10 Grade 9s in my GCSEs, averaging 95% and scoring above 90% in every subject, placing me at the top of the national cohort. This included 160/160 (100%) in GCSE English Literature and 155/160 (97%) in GCSE English Language - some of the top scores in the UK - alongside 96% in GCSE Maths.

This accolade resulted in me being one of the youngest ever to write a bylined article in The Times - one of the most influential global papers - focusing on my experience going through GCSE exams.

My journey proves that with consistency, exam technique and the integration of proven revision systems into your workflow, getting high grades becomes easy.

If I get can get all Grade 9s, anyone can.
